Wednesday 4th – BOOK GROUP MEETING     2:45pm – 4:00pm,        EVENING MEDITATION     30 minute meditation period followed by chanting of vespers (The Litany of the Great Compassionate One, Invocations)     7:00pm – 8:00pm

Friday 6th – EVENING MEDITATION     30 minute meditation period followed by chanting of vespers (The Litany of the Great Compassionate One, Invocations)     7:00pm – 8:00pm

Saturday 7th – INTRODUCTION TO ZEN MEDITATION     This is an introduction to the form of Buddhist meditation practiced at the Eugene Buddhist Priory known as Serene Reflection Meditation. In a small group we discuss the mind of meditation and show the various physical postures used. We then have a short meditation period together to experience the meditation which will then be followed by an opportunity to ask further questions about the meditation and practice.

Sunday 8th –  SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE     10am Meditation, 10.30am Full Morning Service: Sandokai, The Most Excellent Mirror Samadhi, The Ancestral Line, The Scripture of Great Wisdom, The Litany of the Great Compassionate One, Adoration of the Buddha’s Relics. 11.20am Dharma talk/discussion. You are welcome to come for all or any part of our Sunday morning meeting. Please arrive just before the beginning of each event.

Wednesday 11th – BOOK GROUP MEETING     2:45pm – 4:00pm,        EVENING MEDITATION     30 minute meditation period followed by chanting of vespers (The Litany of the Great Compassionate One, Invocations)     7:00pm – 8:00pm

Friday 13th – EVENING MEDITATION     30 minute meditation period followed by chanting of vespers (The Litany of the Great Compassionate One, Invocations)     7:00pm – 8:00pm

Saturday 14th – SATURDAY MEDITATION 10:00am – 2:00pm A 35 minute meditation period will begin at 10am, 11am, 12noon, and 1pm. Following each meditation period there will be 10 minutes of walking meditation followed by a short break. All are welcome to come for all or any part of the day. Saturday 21st – COMMUNITY WORK DAY     10am – 2pm  There is plenty of work at all different levels of strength and energy. It is fine to come for any portion of the work time. You are welcome to bring a snack or lunch and we will take a social break at noon. Please contact the priory if this is your first time coming.

Sunday 22nd – SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE    30 minute meditation period beginning at 10am followed by the Renewal of Vows Ceremony. At about 11.20am there will be a Dharma discussion. You are welcome to come for all or any part of our Sunday morning meeting. Please arrive just before the beginning of each event.
